Success has a beginning

    CHARLATTE CREATION

    Maurice Charlatte, an aeronautical engineer founded CHARLATTE in Migennes (89) a subcontracting factory in sheet metal mechanics and industrial boilermaking.
  • 1982-85

    DIVERSIFICATION : CHARLATTE MANUTENTION

    CHARLATTE is diversifying by adding tractors and electric carriers to its products range: CHARLATTE MANUTENTION birth.
  • 1989

    FIRST 20T baggage tractor

    CHARLATTE designs its first 20T baggage tractor for the airport sector and becomes world leader in the manufacture of electric vehicles for this sector.
  • 1990

    CONSOLIDATION

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION is expanding its product range.
  • 1993

    AN US COMPANY

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION establishes CHARLATTE OF AMERICA in Bluefield, Virginia to consolidate its leading position in the American market.
  • 1995

    FIRST T135 AND CONVEYOR BELTS

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION designs its first T135 and develops its first prototype of electric conveyor belt too.
  • 1998

    INCREASE IN PRODUCTION CAPACITY AND P1500E

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION establishes in Brienon-sur-Armançon (89) to increase its production capacity.
    And the P1500E is on the tarmacs.
  • 1999

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION JOINS FAYAT GROUP

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION joins FAYAT Group and the special vehicles division of the group.

    NEWS PRODUCTS FOR THE INDUSTRY

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION develops new products for the industry sector: TE206, TE208, TE225.
  • 2003

    ENLARGEMENTOF THE RANGE

    News flatbeds (PE150, PE200, PE2300) and tractors (TD225, TE225L, TE425) are conceived.

    CBL2000E : A NEW CONVEYOR BELT

    CHARLATTE MANUTENTION designs a new conveyor belt: the CBL2000E.

    PRODUCTION RECORD

    This year, more than 1,200 vehicles are made.
